Volunteering 2.0.

I supported NL Cares in getting their social impact across in the media: their call to young professionals to donate a little of their free time for volunteering. We called this ‘flexible volunteering’, which is very fitting when young professionals, or ‘multipotentialites’ as I like to call them, have less free time to give or committing to one thing is becoming less of a norm. I wrote press releases, helped think of ‘media hooks’ to get their message across and edited imagery and video content.

I also did some video-editing for an initiative I dubbed ‘Balcony serenades’ in which musicians visited elderly homes during Corona times and performed at the appropriate distance.
